Aventon bikes are well respected in the single speed community and their Mataro model stands out as one of their most sought after. With its lightweight aero design frame and aggressive riding position with drop handlebars, it's no wonder the Mataro is such a favourite. 

Weighing in at 8.8kg, this Aventon is more than ready for an alley cat race. With both front and rear caliper brakes, you have complete flexibility in how you want to set your bike up; single speed or fixie, front brake or both. A handy 'flip-flop' hub on the back also gives you the chance to easily swap between a freewheel and a fixed wheel. This is perfect for when you want to give riding 'fixed' a go. Proper drop bars and a racing saddle give this Mataro a rear thoroughbred track feel. If you've been curious about single speed bikes but haven't yet taken the plunge, you're not going to get a better opportunity than this!

This Aventon arrived at our workshop in great condition although quite a number of the components needed replacing. Never fear, that's what our super mechanics are here for! They've replaced the Brake Cables, Brakes, Freewheel, Handlebar Tape, Pedals, and Saddle before carrying out a full check-over and tune-up service. This Aventon is now ready for super single speed city spinning!
