There's very little chance this frame will break apart in your lifetime. If it somehow does, you can easily weld the beast back together as good as new - whether you're in Manchester or Mongolia.
The rest of the bike is built with top-notch Shimano Deore components - with 27 speed gears you'll be grateful for when you need to cross the Alps, and integrated brakes/gear shifters for super easy shifting.
Talking of brakes: this Galaxy has Avid cantilevers on board - great stopping power and plenty of clearance for the full coverage mudguards.
The whole package is topped off with a much-sought-after Brookes saddle - the epitome of comfort!
This Dawes came to us in great nick, with just a few cosmetic blemishes - nothing to worry about when you're touring the middle of nowhere! Nevertheless, our mechanics have lavished this bike with love, fitting a brand new bottom bracket, and cables.
