This Jamis Trail X means serious business! If you like taking off-road shortcuts and don't get squeemish at the first sight of mud, this is the one for you. And if by chance you find yourself back on the road, you can lockout the front suspension with a flick of a switch and cover decent distance without wearing yourself out too much. It's the best of both worlds!

Featuring a strong alloy frame and tasty suspension front forks for off-roading (and potholing), this Jamis has the specs to back up its good looks. The 26" wheels mean you'll have great handling and a sharper angle of attack over obstacles. Meanwhile, the 24 speed Shimano gearing will make mincemeat out of mountains and give you plenty for a fast descent - even faster if you do find yourself on a road. Finally, a pair of good quality mechanical disc brakes gives excellent stopping power whatever the conditions. 

Our team of mechanics have given this Jamis our usual overhaul love, fitting brand new Chain, Gear Cables, Handlebar Grips, and Saddle so it's ready to ride. It all adds up to make the Trail  X a superbly put together hybrid during the week and mountain bike on the weekend!
