What a beauty! This Panasonic Keirin track bike is a rare gem and is packed full of nice features. Panasonic cycle industries are well known for their racing heritage, but also for the value in their ride and quality, which makes this an excellent choice if your looking for a premium single speed bike.

Made from cromoloy steel, even with all the components and both wheels, the bike weighs in at only 10.8kg. With this low weight and direct single speed drivetrain, acceleration and speed will come naturally. Steel frames like this beautifully balance stiffness and compliance, giving a responsive and lively feel when you put the power down or throw yourself into a corner. 

Freewheel or fixed, you'll get the exhilarating tied-to-the-road feeling, and the Shimano 105 calipers have loads of stopping power and are beautifully complimented by the ergonomic TRP levers. But that's not all, if you're all about the numbers then this bike will be perfect for you as its already equipped with a power2max power meter (they don't come cheap). The quality of the finishing kit on this bikes really ties it altogether, with stiff Zipp handlebars, Ritchey stem and a Selle San Marco saddle. 

Maintenance for single speeds is usually straight forward, having few moving parts, but with a paint job this nice you'll be at pains trying to keep it clean to remain the envy of the roads.

Although still in production, Panasonic ceased distribution of their bikes to the US and European markets. Now, their track frames are sadly hard to come by, so with this bike you'll be owning a rare piece of history and you'll likely never see someone with the same frame, but that's not a bad thing right?
