This is a really lovely example of a thoroughly well thought out offroad/rough road tourer. Thorn is a big name in the steel touring bike scene and for very good reason: great value, phenomenal quality and no-nonsense design built to last and last.

This frame is a beauty assembled with 969 Cro-Mo steel. This gives a lightweight but strong and stiff frame. Striking the perfect balance.

This one has a tasteful Deore XT drivetrain. With these gears you'll be able to scale sheer cliffs. Stopping comes from super reliable and road serviceable - even in the back of beyond - cantilever brakes. Smaller diameter 26inch wheels let you have bigger tyres as well as a more sure footed stance on loose tracks.

Our expert mechanics got this bike back into shape with new brake blocks, brake lever, chain, cassette, shifters, saddle and tyres.

Overall this is such a nice bike.
