Bicicapace Cargo bike (20")

  • What the heck is this? This, my friends, is an Italian-made cargo bike. As well as being beautiful, it's a practical and low maintenance workhorse.

If you're looking for speed, please look elsewhere. This monster is built for deliveries. A pannier rack at the rear and a flat-bed rack at the front mean you can carry 40kgs no problem.

The smaller front wheel allows heavier loads while increasing stability and maneuverability - and the larger back wheel means you can still get up a decent speed!

The 3 gears are supplied by an integrated Shimano Nexus hub, which means bags of reliability and very little maintenance.

It's also got Shimano drum brakes. If you've never heard of drum brakes before, then you'll get an idea of how rugged they are if I tell you that they're usually found on trucks.

You need not worry about rolling over nails while packing 80kgs either - the Marathon Plus and Big Apple tyres are basically bullet proof.

The only downside on this beast is its hefty weight - but with the goods you're carrying, you're hardly cycling for speed.

Best For: Turning heads and carrying baby elephants.
