The Dawes Blowfish is a great starter for any wannabe oceanographer and/or cyclist.

The tyres are nice and knobbly so no fear in the wet, and you might even be tempted for a little family off-roading.

The v-brakes provide great stopping power for peace of mind and the fact that it is single-speed means very few moving parts to maintain.

All this makes the Blowfish a tough cookie that'll take the rough treatment of a young rider. It's the perfect bike to build confidence on!
