Islabikes are the crème de la crème when it comes to bikes for children. They are super lightweight, use only the best components and have carefully designed frame geometry. As you may have found from your own research, their re-sale value speaks for itself. This Beinn 26 model is suitable for kids aged roughly 10 and up and has large 26" wheels. 

What a smart looking bike! Connecting two 'adult' size 26" wheels is a carefully designed, lightweight aluminium frame designed specifically for kids around 5ft tall. The large wheels mean that getting up to speed is a breeze, whilst the smaller frame keeps you well in control of handling, and mounting/dismounting. You've got 24 speeds delivered through a proper Shimano Altus rear mech and with a load of new parts, the drivetrain will feel silky smooth. And bringing you to a swift stop are responsive V-brakes, the perfect balance between weight, cost and performance.

This Islabikes frame arrived at our workshop needing a fair amount of TLC. On the bright side, this means it's now got loads of brand new parts! Our pro mechanics got straight down to business fitting brand new Bottom Bracket, Brake Cables, Brake Pads, Cassette, Chain, Gear Shifters, Gear Shifters, Handlebar Grips, Pedals, and Rear Derailleur before carrying out a full check-over and tune-up.

Best for: You never own a Islabike, you simply look after it for the next generation!
