Kona Fire Mountain MTB (22")

  • The Fire Mountain is an American designed, fully featured mountain bike that doesn't ride out of place on the smooth stuff too.

It's got Marzocchi front suspension to soften the hardest trails, Shimano Deore 24 speed gearing to dispatch the steepest hills and - highlight alert - Shimano disk brakes that'll perform sharply in all conditions.

Originally developed for fast cars, disk brakes have superior stopping power at all speeds and in all weathers. That means no more skidding around in the wet, and no more micro-adjusting temperamental old v-brakes and calipers!

As a bonus, the tyres are Marathon Plus ATB, which I'd defy you to puncture with a short range high powered rifle.

If you love hitting some rocky trails on your weekends or if your commute goes over a mountain pass (maybe your local council has no budget left for decent road surfacing), then you won't find better value than this Fire Mountain.

Best For: Getting yourself a fully featured MTB inside £400.

Delivery to the UK mainland is free for all bikes (and for any accessories ordered at the same time). Bikes will arrive within 3-5 working days.
