Swift Folder (Folding Bike)

  • The Swift Folder is a folding masterwork, designed in a collaboration between Peter Reich, a New York based industrial designer, and Jan VanderTuin, founder of the Center for Appropriate Transportation in Eugene, Oregon.

The Swift is indeed built for speed: it's quick enough to finish mid-field against proper race bikes in an amateur time trial - and packs down in 10 seconds flat.

Folding bikes give city commuters the best of both worlds. They're perfect when used in combination with trains or buses so you have the flexibility and good cheer of bike travel, even as part of a longer journey. Or simply for cycling to (but maybe not home from) the pub!

Check your local services, but folding bikes like this Swift Folder can usually be taken on National Rail and bus routes - even during peak times and, in London, even on the Underground. Amazing.

The bike itself is lightweight and fitted with great quality components, including a brand new chain and freewheel.

Best For: Escaping from sweaty armpits during rush hour, smugly beating out lycra-clad racers - and FREEDOM!

Delivery to the UK mainland is free for all bikes (and for any accessories ordered at the same time). Bikes will arrive within 3-5 working days. For more information on deliveries and returns click here.

Please note that there are some areas outside of England and Wales that we are unable to ship to due to courier restrictions.
