Trek have been making bikes in Wisconsin since 1975 and in this Trek Multitrack 7300 can justifiably claim to have put together the perfect easy rider. Hybrids like this one excel at everything you ask of them. I've ridden mine through swamps, over beaches, up mountains and down town. They'll carry a heavy load without fuss, forgive you for not cleaning their nether regions and still whisk you away at a moment's notice. This one even has a suspension seatpost for an extra lush ride. The rack already fitted mean you can ride away and round the world with a just some panniers.

The upright riding style is great for city riding, where visibility is more important than head-down speed. Having said that, the 24 Shimano gears are more than enough to get you quickly around town, and up all but the stiffest of hills.

Plus, the famous Bike Project refurb means this Trek Multitrack 7300 rides like it's just rolled off the production line.
