Nancy Bucciero

Nancy joined The Bike Project from an events management background. She decided to leave the world of events to volunteer at a refugee camp in Lesvos in 2019. On her return to London, she knew she wanted to continue working in this area and try to make a positive impact to the refugee community in London. With a passion for well-organised spread sheets and taking on new challenges, joining the Operations Team seemed like the perfect fit!

Being a bike newbie herself, she appreciates how daunting and scary it can be cycling on the roads in London for many of our beneficiaries, but is keen to get as many refugees cycling as possible to share the freedom and exploration that a bike can offer.
