Professional View
Islabikes was founded by Isla Rowntree in 2005, after she couldn't find a good-quality kids bike. The company became known for lightweight, well-fitted children's bikes. Later expanding into adult and specialist bikes, regular production was stopped in 2023 with the focus shifting to spare parts and keeping existing bikes on the road.
This Luath 26 has been serviced and fitted with new chain, brake and gear cables. The spec includes Tektro cantilever brakes, a Shimano Altus 8-speed gearset, with an integrated chain guard, alloy wheels with Schwalbe low profile tread tyres.
A well regarded bike, thoughtfully sized for the smaller rider. It is known for it's sharp handling, light for it's category and durable, making it suitable for road, track,cyclocross and touring.
Delivery
We deliver anywhere in mainland UK. Normally, orders are delivered the next working day after they have been collected by our third-party shipping provider.
