This Boardman Sport is a fabulous introduction if you want to get into road biking without getting a road-sized hole in your wallet.

Road bikes are typically lightweight and designed for optimum aerodynamics and speed on asphalt. That means big wheels, skinny tyres and dropped handlebars so you can really get your head down and fly!

The 16 speed Shimano gears offer you a good range to climb some steep hills, while getting you well up to speed on the fast flats - when the road caliper brakes are exactly what you need to come to a safe stop.

The frame is made from lightweight aluminium alloy and balances the scales at an impressive 10.7kgs. You'd be very hard pressed to find a similarly weighted bike for this price!

This Boardman is in excellent condition. As always our mechanics have carried out a full check-over and tune-up, and fitted new Brake Cables, Brake Pads, Chain, Gear Cables, Handlebar Tape, Pedals, and Tyres and sent this one on its way. This Boardman now rides as good as new!

So if you're looking to dip your toes into road racing, then we reckon you won't find a bigger bargain than this Boardman Sport!
