This Giant Defy is a great road bike that's a fantastic introduction to dedicated road cycling. It has everything that you will need to step your road cycling game up a gear!

The Shimano Claris groupset gives you control over the whopping 24 speeds, which are more than enough to beat the hills and smash along the flats. The lightweight aluminium frame and forks will zip over the road, making accelerating up to top speed a dream. The road caliper brakes will stop you when you need them to and the Continental puncture resistant tyres will keep you rolling fast while keeping the sharp things at bay.

Our ace mechanics have fitted a new chain, bar tape, pedals and rear wheel.
