If you're looking for a bike that'll take a hiding and keep on riding, then you're after a hybrid. The upright handlebars make for comfortable all-round cycling, whether you're on a commute or in a pursuit.

With its lightweight alloy frame and 24 Shimano gears, the Trek 7.3FX is fast on the flat and hungry for hills. It's the perfect blend of MTB strength and road speed. 

This Trek 7.3FX arrived at our workshop with a few small blemishes but otherwise in great nick. Our mechanics have carried out a full check-over and tune up and decided to fit brand brakes, chain, pedals, saddle, and tyres. This one now runs like it's just rolled off the production line.

Best For: Stripped down, straightforward Trekking.
