This Carrera Blast is perfect for any youngsters who love the mud and glory of off-roading. It's a really solidly built mountain bike with a lightweight aluminium frame that won't be afraid of a few bashes and bruises.

It's got everything you need in a MTB, including front suspension that'll take the rough out of the road as well as 21 Shimano gears that'll really help them get up to speed.

This bike is really showing off in the brakes department. Disks like this were originally designed to stop 70mph motorbikes on wet roads, so I shouldn't worry about them stopping a speeding child!
