The bikes we receive from generous donors such as yourself are either donated to refugees for free, or sold via our online shop, with any sales proceeds used to fund more bikes for refugees.

By providing The Bike Project (Charity Number: 1152354) with the following details and submitting this form, Retail Gift Aid allows us to claim an extra 25% on top of the value of your bike, should your bike go on to be sold.

We have supported over 6000 refugees with bikes since The Bike Project was founded in 2013. Now, we operate across multiple premises across London and Birmingham, and have supported refugees from across the UK.  

We take bike donations for both adults and children and donate to beneficiaries all across the country. Alongside their bikes, beneficiaries receive gloves, helmet, lock, hi-vis vest and a set of tools for bike adjustments. To top it all off, we even offer unlimited bike repair for life for our beneficiaries!

Every bike donated goes directly towards supporting refugees, whether that is by becoming a donor bike itself or through the proceeds we raise from its sale – which go directly back to helping refugees.
